Why Tuesday is Movie Day

Why Tuesday is Movie Day
By Amelia Fayad
More than 100 years ago, two brothers in France began to create moving pictures and now that invention is known all around the world. Almost every country has a special day to go to the movies; Lady's Day, Popular Monday, Family Sunday, etc.
In Toronto, Tuesday is Movie Day: everybody can enjoy a film for half the usual price of the ticket.

"Let's go to the movies" is a popular phrase that we have said at least once in our lives, but here we are: new city, new language, new everything. If you want to go with your ILSC friends to the movies, it is a good opportunity to practice your English and learn new vocabulary. This city has a lot of cinemas to choose from and if you are like me, always getting lost without a map, here is a list of the cinemas closest to ILSC Toronto.
